Registration Info

Reno American Little League Spring 2025 Baseball & Softball Registration is now open on the RALL website. Please forward this information to families in Northwest Reno who might be interested in both our baseball and softball programs.

Below is important information regarding registration and the upcoming season.  Please take a moment to read through it before registering your player(s).

Where do I register?

https://www.renoamerican.com/

RenoAmerican.com (You will need to use your Sports Connect account, or create one)

How do I know if my child is eligible for RALL?

Find your league by entering your home address in the League Finder. Some considerations are made for players who moved, not far, out of our boundary within the last few months. Please contact the league for more information if this applies to you at [email protected].

How long is registration open?

The normal open registration period is from December 1, 2024 - January 13, 2025. We highly encourage you to register your player(s) during this time to ensure a spot on a team and not incur late fees.

Late registration will be available from January 14, 2025 - February 8, 2025 and Juniors registration will close on February 20, 2025, but a non-negotiable late fee of $25.00 will apply and some divisions may be full and your player will be placed on a waitlist.  Some divisions will close by January 30, 2025 as they fill up quickly.

We understand that many older players are trying out for their high school teams.  However, Juniors also will fill up quickly so please try and register early.  If we don’t have enough players to form a new team, unfortunately we’ll have to turn those players away.  It’s important to register ASAP.

What divisions are available?

  • Girls Softball – Ages 6 - 12

- (ages 6 - 8) Farm/Machine Pitch

- (ages 8-11) Minors/Coach Pitch

- (ages 11-12) Majors/Player Pitch

  • Baseball – Ages 5 – 14

- CO-ED Tee Ball (ages 5-6) - *A 4-year-old can play if their parent is the head coach

- Farm - Machine Pitch (ages 6-8)

- AA - Player/Coach Pitch (ages 8-10)

- Minors (AAA) (ages 8-11)

- Majors - (ages 10-12)

- Juniors - 60’/90’ fields (ages 13-15)

What does it cost?

Baseball Tee Ball is $125 per player. Girls Softball is $125 per player.  The other five divisions of baseball $165 per player. For siblings, a $40 discount does apply.

Are there tryouts?

All players who are registered for Minors (AAA)Majors and Juniors divisions are required to try out.  Players will be placed on a team but it is required to assess skill level and balance teams.  Times and location TBD, and weather permitting. There are no tryouts for the developmental Tee Ball, Farm, AA and Softball.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

RALL does not issue refunds. If you must cancel before tryouts or before teams are formed, we can credit your account (minus league fees) toward a future fall or spring season. Refund exceptions will be made for a child who is injured and cannot play prior to the start of the season. Supporting documentation will be required. Approved credits and refunds will include a $35 charge for transaction fees, administrative and operating costs incurred by the league.

For Spring 2025 baseball players must be  zoned for our league either through home address verification or because your child attends a school within our boundary lines (school enrollment verification). Signing up with RALL when you are not zoned for our league will incur the $35 fee when we cancel the registration and could cause you to miss registration with the correct league so please check to ensure you are within our boundary.

After I register online, where can I go to get help with verification documents?

See the Residency Eligibility Checklist. There are three upcoming document days where Board Members will be available to help check registration documents.  Please attend one of the following:

  • Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 9-11 a.m. at the Mae Anne Fire Station
  • Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 9-11 a.m. at the Mae Anne Fire Station
  • Wednesday, February 5, 2025from 5-7p.m. at Bully's on Robb Drive

How do I know my player’s “league age”?

The 2025 league age is used for Spring registration:

Can my child play in the Spring if I’m outside of the boundary of RALL?

No, apart from the Baseball Tee Ball and Juniors divisions. Please email registration@renoamerican.com for more information.
