2024 Spring Season Registration is now OPEN

Baseball Season is coming up and RALL registration is now live.   Sign your player up for the Spring 2024 season.  Volunteer to help the league make this the best season yet!

How do I know if my child is eligible for RALL?

Find your league by entering your home address in the League Finder. Some considerations are made for players out of our boundary if their parents are RALL Volunteers or if you have recently moved within the last 12 months. Please contact the league for more information at [email protected]

How long is registration open?

The open registration period is from December 1, 2023 to January 12, 2024. Parents are highly encouraged to register their player(s) during this time to ensure a spot on a team. Late registration will be available from January 13 to February 15, 2024, but a late fee will apply and some divisions will close by January 30. Juniors registration will close on March 11, 2024 and late fees are not added as we know many of these players are trying out for their high school teams. If we don’t have enough players to form a new team, unfortunately we’ll have to turn those players away. It’s important to register ASAP.

What divisions are available?

*  Girls Softball – Ages 6 - 12
- (ages 6 - 8)Coach Pitch
- (ages 8-12) Minors/Majors

*  Baseball (Co-Ed) – Ages 5 – 14
-  Tee Ball (ages 5-6) - *A 4-year-old can play if their parent is the head coach
-  Farm - Machine Pitch (ages 6-8)
-  AA - Player/Coach Pitch (ages 8-10)
-  Minors (AAA) (ages 8-11)
-  Majors (Competitive) - (ages 10-12)
-  Juniors - 60’/90’ fields (Competitive)  (ages 13-14)

What does it cost?

Tee Ball is $125 per player. Girls Softball is $125 per player. The other five divisions of baseball $165 per player. For siblings, a $40 discount will apply.

Are there tryouts?

Tryouts for the competitive Minors (AAA) and Majors divisions will be on Saturday, February 10, 2024. All players who are registered for these two divisions are required to try out. Times and location TBD, and weather permitting. There are no tryouts for the developmental Tee Ball, Farm, AA and Softball.

Dates for tryouts of the Juniors division are to be decided but will be in mid March and an email will go out as we get closer to that time. Times and location TBD, and weather permitting.

What is the cancellation policy?

RALL will not issue refunds. If you must cancel before tryouts or before teams are formed, we can credit your account (minus league fees) toward a future fall or spring season. Refund exceptions will be made for a child who is injured and cannot play prior to the start of the season. Supporting documentation will be required. Approved credits and refunds will include a $35 charge for transaction fees, administrative and operating costs incurred by the league.

For spring baseball, players must be zoned for our league either through home address verification or because your child attends a school within our boundary lines (school enrollment verification). Signing up with RALL when you are not zoned for our league will incur the $35 fee when we cancel the registration and could cause you to miss registration with the correct league.

Is there a draft?

Yes, in the Minors (AAA), Majors and Juniors divisions only. The draft for the Minors (AAA) and Majors divisions will be on Sunday, February 11, 2024. The draft for the Juniors division is tentatively on a Sunday in mid March. More details will be communicated directly with coaches as we get closer.

After I register online, where can I go to get help with documents?

See the Residency Eligibility Checklist. There are three upcoming document days, where Board Members will be available to help check registration documents:

Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 9-11 a.m. at the Mae Anne Fire Station
Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Raley’s on Robb Dr.
Saturday, February 7, 2024 from 9-11 a.m. at TBD

How do I know my player’s “league age”?

The 2024 league age is used for spring registration:
League Age Determination (League Age Calculator)
2024 Little League Baseball Age Chart

Can my child play in the spring if I’m outside of the boundary of RALL?

No, with the possible exception of the Tee Ball and Juniors divisions. Please email [email protected] for more information.

When do practices begin?

Wednesday, March 1, 2024 (weather permitting). Practices for the Juniors division start later, after the tryouts and draft.

When do games begin?

Games begin on Saturday, March 16, 2024 and run through Tuesday, May 28, 2024. There will be no games from March 25 to April 5 during WCSD’s Spring Break. Does your child play travel ball? No problem. We make every effort to build our spring schedule around those weekend tournaments.

Are there playoffs?

Yes, in the AA, Minors (AAA), Majors and Juniors divisions only. Playoffs occur from May 28th through June 6th. Please let us know as soon as you can if you know your child (in AA, Minors or Majors) will be missing any of those dates.
